In the void, I stand alone

All forgotten – you’re all gone;

But a mirror stares at me,

Fills my soul with certainty.

I’m all alone, I do not matter

Let us cut down this chatter,

Let me sink, and drown, and die,

Fade away and soon to cry.

All this dullness, all this grief

Have given me enough relief;

I live my rotting soul

And eat my mind all whole.

All alone, in this bleak world

Everything so evil and so twirled;

Let me then stop pretend

And bring it all to one good end.

Let me die in my corner,

All alone, sad – A warrener

Through suffering and ache,

My world shall not shake.
